Bradford or Bust Charity bike ride

In August this year a small band of intrepid cyclists will be setting out from South Derbyshire to Hebden Bridge along the High Peak and Pennine Cycle trail to raise money and awareness for two projects that support mental well-being and recovery for those most affected by mental distress.

The ride will be mostly off road with some big hills and challenging terrain and the riders (all from Leicester) will be camping out beneath the stars.

Darren O'Brien, ride organiser said, ‘I've been planning to tackle this ride for over a year now and felt it was a great opportunity to promote the work of Network for Change and Bradford Soteria.

We are still looking for corporate sponsorship or the loan of equipment such as panniers and companies can buy sticker space on my bike at £5 each'.

100% of the proceeds will be shared between the Network for Change Resource Centre in Leicester and the Bradford Soteria Project.
